  1. Why would you ever draft a kicker? Rams get the SEC Defensive player in the year in the 7th round AFTER the Lions took a kicker. Jesus.

  2. Yeah, I don't buy that Buffalo is the worst landing spot. I'm actually kind of excited about their offense going forward. They showed the early stages of an exciting spread attack last year, and IIRC, they were the only team that ran more plays per second than Chip Kelly's Eagles. I think people are basing their opinions of Buffalo too much on the past (and the weather) and not enough on the future.

  3. I have never seen this many people complain about a teams draft when the consistently compete for a Super Bowl. You would think we are talking about the Jags, Lions or Browns.

  6. Picture of scaffold on twitter/Facebook... It's obscene. It's so big that MIM insurance personnel stopped by looked if over, and informed us they are changing the rules disallowing 3 story booths next year.... True story.

  7. I highly doubt a WR comes available that I would be willing to give a 1st for. We don't need to do that. An ok vet for a 4th would go a long way.

  8. Apparently Glennon was a highly pursued player during the draft. (KFFL)Tampa Bay Buccaneers turned down a half dozen trade requests from teams looking to acquire QB Mike Glennon. "There's a lot of interest and we want to keep Mike,'' Bucs general manager Jason Licht said Saturday. "(They were) just feeling it out. I know that Mike has a very good reputation throughout the league as far as his developmental future." (Web Site Link) http://www.kffl.com

  9. I didn't like the Bortles choice but Caldwell was 100% sold on him as a franchise QB and decided he would take him. So aside from a QB-starved franchise drafting somebody they view as their guy, I'd be curious to know what you don't like. Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson were great picks to me. Colvin is basically a first-round CB they red-shirt for a year as a 4th rounder. Telvin fills a need and was also good value. I think the biggest knock you can make on this draft is they waited so long to take a pass-rusher. And who knows who their center will be? Bortles isn't ready, and he isn't good

  12. No way this baseball game is over at 10pm. This happened the last time they tried this. ####### stupid, Fox. They gonna keep the fighting on FS2? Which I don't even have. Or when baseball is over show in full on FS1?

  13. How? They just dealt away their 1st rounder. That's the joke. Are they not allowed to trade for a first round pick next year? There's no way Stopped reading here. Someone says "always" or never" whatever follows is meaningless.Yup. Every single time.

  14. In fairness, Jackson isn't going to be around much longer. I will personally fly out to Buffalo and punch Brandon in the liver if they let Spiller walk.

  15. I like the LB pick. Hate the C pick. I don't love the TE, admittedly not familiar with him, but why overpay your current TE to draft a TE? They didn't overpay him though, that's the key. I felt the same way, until I looked at the details of the contract. It is heavily backloaded, with minimal impact in cutting him after 2015. His salary and cap hit for this season rank 17th and 23rd in the league. I would say Pettigrew, with his outstanding blocking, ranks at least 23rd, and probably better than 17th, in overall TE rankings in the NFL... not fantasy. Love Van Noy, am "meh" about Swanson

  16. The only problem with drafting secondary is that they don't seem to make immediate impacts and need development. Hopefully, Bentley and Slay have developed and can be better.

  17. Disagree...this team is real close...they have one of the best QBs of all time with a closing window...during this window who their backup is doesn't really matter...if Brady goes down they aren't winning it regardless of who the backup is...adding another TE, or Safety or pass-rusher helps them far more than a player who has zero chance of seeing the field next year if Brady stays healthy...especially if they hit on that pick and get another Gronk, Hernandez, Volmer, Samuel, Ridley, Collins or Logan Ryan (i.e. a kid who can contribute in year one who they got after the first round)...the Pats

  18. My son and I were discussing the Packers injury woes at wide receiver (around midseason?) when she had an idea... "They need more blockers out there to protect them." He is 11 and about peed his pants. She gets it from her Filipino mom though, who was still cheering for the Packers a solid fifteen minutes after I switched the tv over to the Saints and 49ers.
