  4. We aren't technically suing Geico. Somebody who was insured by Geico hit my wife's car when it was parked. They managed to do enough damage that the car should have ended up being declared a total loss, but it wasn't for some odd reason. They spent almost $17K fixing it and it is now as good as new, except that we suffered significant diminished value as a result. The car was only 2 years old when it happened and could have been traded in at a pretty high value because it would have qualified for the certified pre-owned program.   8. So the wife and I had a few drinks at our usual spot. The place we go to has a lemon tree right outside the patio. There were a couple of lemons just chilling there. On the way out the wife (who had more than a couple of glasses of wine) decided to take one of the lemons. Today she texts me that she feels bad about it. I sent her this back. And then had to explain it.

  14. Current weight: 206 Down 3 lbs since last weigh in (10.5 overall) but it feels like much more. Just returned from a 12 day work trip where I normall would have put on 5lbs, instead I lost 3. Everyday/night Im eating with others who are eating crap and/or drinking so being able to hold myself to 1 glass of wine the entire trip and eat healthy except for 2-3 meals was a big personal accomplishment. Onward and upward!! @Sand

  16. Not really within walking distance of anything that would be of interest. When it comes to North or South addresses, you want to be as close to 0 as possible. Anything past 900 South or 1200 N is probably going to be a bit far. South addresses would be closer to Museum Campus (Shedd Aquarium, Alder Planetarium, Field Museum), the Edifice of Shame and McCormick Place North addresses would be closer to Navy Pier, high traffic shopping area.
