  1. Well I only have to trade and don't have to spend time fleecing little old ladies and the retail investor. 😉 On a serious note...Unless I want to work past 70, I'm short on time and have a lot of ground to make up. Stupidity had my money in company target accounts and the limited past employer index funds for almost 20 years and fell behind. Keeping up with this thread is like having 30+ advisors working for me. Pros like you and Todem pop in with great suggestions. We've got a bitcoin expert, a few guys that track every SPAC available, guys stalking Cathie Wood. It's the dumbed down

  3. So I just did a reevaluation of my penny portfolio. Most of what I have is down again today, but for the most part I really like the potential for some runs out of all of them. Here's my list, and why I'm holding each one. ABVG - new CEO, holding because, well I have to . But It's a good flyer at a low price. If it does see action it is an easy 5x AZFL - newly OTC verified. CBD oil & processing company. New activity, website operational but not officially launched. Again, another that if it sees volume can be a 4x+ at current levels. CRBP - pharma cannabinoids. I grabbed

  5. Every time I see this thread bumped after market close I’m like oh wow maybe it’s news, and instead it’s like @BassNBrew writing “bought at 5.02 and sold at 5.03 today”. Really need the news.

  6. Probably have the improper shovel for the specific type of snowfall. It's a common misconception the basic snow shovel can indeed shovel all types of snow. But that's just not the case. For example: 1. Powder. Any commoners snow shovel will work for this. My preferred shovel is the 24" push shovel I got last year. Perfection. 2. Heavy wet snow. You need a metal bladed shovel with a stout handle. And by metal, I mean metal. Heavy. Strong. @Zasada probably couldn't lift this shovel. Or the snow. 3. Ice, then snow. You need the double here - a scraper and a shovel. Most folks

  7. Over the past several years, you've truly gone off the deep end in terms of defending every single thing that "your team" does and (intentionally?) mischaracterizing everything the "opposing team" does. You know full well that the Capitol incident involved hundreds of people illegally entering the building, with a significant subset of those entering via violent means. You know full well that some officers actively assisted some of those who entered illegally. We have recordings of this. We know these things for a fact. Yet you persist in false equivalencies and outright lies rather than

  9. 1) Appetizers sold in uneven numbers. 2) Beers sold in glasses that "look" like pint glasses but are actually 12 fl. oz. 3) Kilometers. Honestly, anything metric. Except grams. Grams are awesome. 4) Unsalted anything. "Lightly Salted"is fine. "Unsalted" is unacceptable. 5) Any beer that is not beer flavored. 6) Switching time. Keep DLS all year. 7) Cars with big red bows. 8. Auto Warranty Spam Calls I will be adding to this list as y'all remind me of other worthy items.

  10. I hate to say this.....and please do not take this the wrong way. Your post is exactly why this market is going to have a sharp correction at some point. Maybe not right away...but the storm clouds are certainly gathering. Instead of chasing fast money which is never a smart idea with your nest egg, look to trim and rotate into more defensive, boring sectors such as staples, utilities and IMO infrastructure stocks (which IMO are going to be a great sector over the next 4 years of this administration) and are value stocks. Just some friendly advice.

  11. This is exactly the kind of post I was referencing earlier. Rather than address the actual events of Jan 6, you spew venom at those you perceive as having wronged you somehow. You have an overdeveloped victimhood complex to the point you're incapable of seeing nuance in anything.

  22. Disclaimer: this is my Jeep club but this wasn't my idea, nor have I been out driving (sold my keep)... just have been trying to help with logistics and media requests. TLDR: Jeep Club gives thousands of free rides to healthcare workers to keep hospitals/clinics staffed during ice storm and pandemic. Much of the south is iced over pretty good and Memphis is no exception. We got close to a foot of snow on top of nearly an inch of ice. Bad juju. City ground to a halt with no real blow/salt infrastructure to speak of. A bunch of members of Midsouth Jeep club got together and sta

  29. BOWIE 201.YM - John, I’m Only Dancing - David Bowie Was he telling his boyfriend he was only dancing with a girl? Was he telling his girlfriend he was only dancing with a guy? Was he telling John Lennon to get over himself for the cross-dressing criticism? Only Bowie knows. We were too prude here in America for this one.

  31. Speaking of little old ladies, we have a gal in two of our funds who is in her 70s and runs a goat farm in Jamaica. She sent me a picture this morning with our Xmas gift next to one of her goats. She also plays in the NFL pick 'em contest run by @St. Louis Bob and has won a time or two. Big Dolphins fan because that's the team of Jamaica, mon. Firecracker of a lady who could buy and sell us 10 times over.

  37. Perhaps it was one of the first country rock albums as a whole, but country rock was being played by others previously. One person that seems to strangely get left out of the country rock movement is Michael Nesmith of The Monkees. On their first couple albums, they were told what they could and could not sing, who sang what, and that Mike's country leanings didn't fit their image. Fortunately that producer would violate an agreement, so they would get a new producer, and with that became more freedom. Nesmith loved the combo of country and rock, and though Davy Jones was the opposite, Mike d

  42. What a cluster. He's made a giant mess of this by lying and getting caught. I think most people would get over it if he said "my wife and kids are cold. We're going to go get warm and continue to fight for the people of Texas from afar." Now he's lied. He's been caught lying. He changed his travel plans to save face. Seemed like a small deal that is now a way bigger deal than it had to be.
