  1. MRI results back. Not a stress fracture. Just registered for Monumental. Going to be fun to run with you guys, even if I just stare at your asses for a few minutes and then lose you to your #BMF paces. And meet you for beer after. Now I need to try to knock out a 1:38 HM to get in the first corral! ETA: Updated the FBG race sheet as well. How do we get it to default to 2021?

  3. Ok, so here's the deal: a few years ago I did my one & only marathon. Followed a Higdon training plan. Put in the work. Got really sick two days before the race, and also made the bad decision to walk about 13-15 miles (on vacation in DC with family) in the 36 hours leading up to the race. Finished the marathon but really blew my goal. It was a huge disappointment, even though I finished. While I kept running in the couple of years since, until last year's virtual team relay stuff, I had minimal desire to sign up for anything. And definitely not another marathon. But......

  4. Round 359 - Poptopia Sweet - Little Willy When I was 8 years old my favorite albums were the "Best of Sweet" and Backstreet Boys "Millennium", I had very broad taste for a child lol Round 360 - GRRRLS, GRRRLS, GRRRLS Spinnerette - Ghetto Love Brody Dalle 🤘🏾 My family and I saw them live when I was in high school back in 2009. Some punk rock girls stepped in front of me and hit on @Eephus and gave me a look like "go away kid" and I had to tell them that he was my dad. They left soon after. I prevented my mom from having to step in and sort them out 😂

  8. At age 73, "ultra-geezer" Gene Dykes just competed in the new, 250 mile Cocodona race in Arizona. He made it through 152 miles over 73+ hours and with 25,000 feet of elevation. He stated (on Strava) that over those three days and nights, he got in about five hours of nap time.

  10. Same here as well as Tom Petty. Yep. Bowie never really toured after I was into him but Petty did. His last tour date in Toronto fell on the same day as a friend's wedding. It was an easy decision at the time but I haven't seen her in a good 3-4 years and maybe I should have gone to Petty

  14. I think fouls and free throws are at about all time lows. The unnatural shooting motions getting fouls needs to be addressed, but otherwise, I think the refs are better than ever (low bar to be sure) and making a more free flowing game. There are definitely some things the NBA could do on the margins, but generally, I think they legislated a better NBA over the last 25 years.

  16. cnn streaming must have it archived. off topic, we have decided our retirement, subject to italian elective residence visa, will have us going to florence. prices are just better than rome and we prefer the culture aspect to the rough aspect of rome. we had been thinking to rent, allowing the ability to up and leave....but we’ve now decided to maybe put 200€ towards an apartment. needs outdoor space, otherwise, we are open. it has to be able to have a/c installed. prefer 3 rooms, they offer a lot of 2 room places (kitchen/lr combo and 1 bedroom). we expect some kitchen and bathroom

  23. Did yoga with Tim on Friday, as well as two sessions today. Friday was Transform day 19. It was a 'mobility' day. Just some simple arm movements that didn't seem hard, but actually were. The simple little moves really made my arms/shoulders hurt over the weekend. The movements were for targeting the muscles around the rotator. Today I did Transform Day 20, which was strength day, and Transform Day 21, which was a breathing exercise. The strength one was heavy on the legs and they fill like jell-o now. One thing I will give Tim credit for, both days 19 and 20 are designed

  32. i dont know what your reference point in time is but just for arguments sake lets pick 1960 i am picking that year because in recorded stats that i can find it is just about at the top in scoring per game which would make it the fastest tempo so here we go in 1960 the nba league average per team was 118 points per game and each team averaged 109 field goals attempted with just under 38 free throws per game per team and just about 27 personal fouls called per team per game versus this year the league is averaging about 112 points per game with each each team averaging 88 field goals attempted w

  35. The dynasty team I run with JZilla looks to be in real good shape for next season, especially if Love happens to start in GB. I drafted and held him all season this year and it looked like we'd be throwing him back a wasted pick (we keep 10 from year to year so not full dynasty), but now he may sneak in to that 10 in a 2 QB/superflex, with Big Ben and Gallup being drops. Mayfield, Brady, Big Ben, Love Ekeker, Dobbins, Gibson AJ Brown, Tyreek, Woods, McLaurin, Gallup

  39. Got my second Moderna on 4/29, so close to 😎 . On day two afterwards I had the chills and body aches but nothing terrible. Dainty Princess gets her second Pfizer on 5/13, the day before her birthday. Between that and being 8 months pregnant, may any poor souls get out of her way for the possible day of reckoning on her birthday. 😨 I'm proud of her. 🤗

  40. Just spitballing, but I do see lumber coming back down some. The bottleneck is mills, not wood (tree farmers are getting low prices). There is a huge amount of inflation on container ship costs which affects a lot of worldwide commodities - sugar, coffee, etc. Those should moderate somewhat down the line. The industrial commodities - silver, gold, steel probably don't crash back down. Used cars is a bubble that will pop when Americans don't have govt. slush funds burning a hole in their pocket, but housing will stay very high - housing supply is incredibly low.
