This is an embarrassing, sad, pathetic performance. But I fully expect that Trump supporters will call it a victory for Donald Trump, in which Sessions forcefully exonerated the President and exposed Comey as a liar.

If you're talking about unified opposition to Trump (assuming he is the President we fear him to be) I'm on board.  But I can't get behind populism, even to fight populism. As far as I'm concerned it's poison.
