You are correct, but in one game he showed why he should be in camp at least. Better than Aaronson, Luna, Roldon, Berhaulter, Tessman, etc. He is the most skill full, best passer and has the best vision of any USMNT player. And as impressive as Tillman has been, Gio is better but Tillman does...
I think this is similar to how Russia and the Scandinavian countries run theirs. Big break in the middle for snow. A 2-2.5 month break is a long time. Will be interested to see if it passes and how it might work for MLS.
As someone who watched Cameroon v Sweden in 1994 I can say this was extremely fun.
And actually I would almost prefer to watch a WC match without the US playing in it.
I don't think he threw more than a pass or two in the second half. Two sack/fumble/tds for the def along with his one td and the game was over after the first q. AZ was terrible.
Was very "Thursday Night Football" of a game. Brutal by both sides.
Positive for United was they clawed back the draw. Up until previously they would end up giving up 2 more after going down 2-1....

Volcano Burger is the best, we eat there way to much.

Playing against a relegation zone team who just changed managers is never fun. Especially since United plays down to the perceived level of the other team. Giving up 2 within 5 mins of the restart to go down 1 on the road would have crushed this team a few months ago. Forest deserved better...
Anyone here remember the underrated "UHF!"? Weird Al's foray into movies. So much fun, albeit not in the same tier as some of Brooks and the Zucker Bros work. Still a great watch. And a thanks to the movie for Michael Richards.
