Option 1 seems like "all in fair play" even though not technically following the letter of the rules.
Option 2 (the option I chose) follows the rules to the letter.
Option 3 is an arbitrary invention and makes one question whether the Co-Commish's had an interest in the outcome of that game...
In my keep 2 league the highest pick that has ever changed hands is a 2nd rounder (equivalent of a 4th in redraft.) That only happened one time. Picks in rounds 3 to 5 are more common. Sometimes lower picks will move for lesser players. Usually the team receiving the higher pick throws in...
It happened to me 4 or 5 years ago. 12-team league where only 4 made the playoffs. I had a terrific team but bad luck on the schedule kept me out. I think I was 9-5 and lost a tiebreaker. We have since gone to 6 team playoffs.
In my 12-team keeper league the next year the highest...
They should pull for the Colts, because once Indy clinches home field they will stop playing to win curing the regular season.
The Patriots (IMO) will go all out to go undefeated if given the opportunity.
Holding onto an early waiver priority can come back to bite you too. You sit all year waiting for the one big-time player to use it on, meanwhile other owners are claiming the early breakout WR, good bye week replacements, etc. Sometimes (most times, even) that one stud RB you are waiting for...
According to WFAN yesterday afternoon Ward will play and Jacobs will not. That was from a reporter and it sounded like he had a source inside the organization. He didn't say anything about Droughns.
Have not heard anything new yet this AM.
I’m downgrading my personal expectations from a low-end WR1 to a low-end WR2 with solid upside. If someone wanted to get him from me the best way would most likely be in a package deal. I’m definitely not trading him straight up to speculate on someone like Santonio Holmes.
If you like Evans...
2-0 in my 12-team redraft, 2nd highest scoring team in the league thru 2 weeks
1. S Alexander
2. R Brown
WR are R Moss & Plaxico
TE is Gates
QBBC
Also landed A Peterson (Min) so Brown will be spending quite a bit of time on the bench.
12-team league, keep 2 playersGave Corey Dillon, Mark Bulger, Brandon JacobsGot Julius Jones, Andre Johnson, David CarrI did it because I like Jones better than Dillon for this year, and for the future. Also, I like AJ to recpver from his slow start - he will be a nice WR3 and a sure-fire...
I voted for win-win deal. It felt like a bit of a cop-out so I'm suprised to see that is the top choice so far. Both teams benefitted from this trade, but if that choice wasn't there I'd have gone with Atlanta. Vick is pretty good now and he is going to be one of the all-time greats, IMO.Also...
I remember a thread from days gone by where someone had used this strategy only to find out the Live Scoring that had him ahead by 1 pt (or whatever the number was) was incorrect - he was actually BEHIND by 1 pt. Unfortunately he didn't find out about that little problem until Tuesday morning...
Earlier this year I could barely find a RB worth starting... had to put Dunn AND Duckett out there one week - naturally it was the week they both got totally shut down. :wall: Traded Dunn before the deadline and voila'... out for the season. Bummer - I like him quite a bit so was glad to...
