Fumbles and Muffs (Published Wed Sep 11 11:57:21 p.m. ET 2013)
Fumbles happen all the time in the NFL, but they tend to be a source of confusion and arguments in fantasy football, because there are so many different types of fumbles and circumstances in which...
Three favorites...
Joe Theisman: "Nobody in football should be called a genius. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein."
Jery Rice: "I feel like I'm the best, but you're not going to get me to say that. "
**** Butkus: "I wouldn't ever set out to hurt anyone deliberately unless it was, you...
Based on my league scoring here is the order of the teams that give up the most points to Defense/ST:
1. Panthers
2. Cardinals
3. Vikings
4. Bears
5. Chargers
6. 49ers
7. Seahawks
8. Dolphins
9. Bills
10. Jaguars
11. Bengals
12. Cowboys
13. Redskins
14. Browns
15. Rams
16. Giants...
I will second that. I had a 34 point lead going into the fourth quarter against Big Ben and Mike Wallace. I was feeling comfortable and then the two of them score 56 points in one quarter! Are you kidding me!!! I wanted to quit this 16 year obsession right then. :hey: :wall:
I do most of this too but the problem is thousands of other commissioner's don't and their leaguemates aren't aware that the commish can see these waiver requests and trade offers. I have emailed MFL in the past to see if they can do something where the commish can make changes but not have...
Go to For Commissioner...Setup...Commissioner/Franchise Setup...Abilities Setup...Go to bottom of page...clickn on Yes, the commissioner will give up his ability to view pending owner-initiated transactions...Save abilities. Problem solved.
If the Vikings had already agreed to pay Viincent Jackson I see no reason why money would be an issue with a Moss deal. The sticking point supposedly on VJ's deal was the draft pick compensation which according to reports has already been worked out with this deal.
This may be the worst group of RB's rostered on a 10 team dynasty league.
Brown, Thomas CLE RB
Dwyer, Jonathan PIT RB ®
Faulk, Kevin NEP RB
Gerhart, Toby MIN RB ®
Lewis, Jamal FA RB -
Mughelli, Ovie ATL RB
Norwood, Jerious ATL RB
Snelling, Jason ATL RB
Spiller, C.J. BUF RB ®

Addai gets no love even though he was the #7 RB in 2009(#6 in ppg). He also finished #3 in 2007. I was trading him because of his age and contract situation not because he hasn't produced.
I've got a trade offer on the table right now. I offered Addai and got an owner that will give me Hakeem Nicks for him. I'm very tempted but I don't know if Nicks is going to be the real deal or not. I can see the Colts letting Addai walk after this year like they did with Edge.
I heard that Carolina tried to move up to the Rams spot at 33 to get him but weren't able to do so. I believe I heard someone on the NFL Network say this during the draft. So, Carolina did have a significant interest in drafting him a lot higher.
