McDonald is perfectly happy right now. Walker is healthy, they are playing the long game and they are winning games. They aren’t changing anything until they lose or someone gets injured.
Believe me, i wish it weren’t the case.
I don't see how it doesn't. Hubbard is a nice back but he's not some elite talent that the team is built around. He stepped up last year and got a payday but that doesn't mean it's his backfield. Things change. Not saying that Hubbard will go on the bench, because he won't but I don't see...
unfortunately, that ain't happenin. Seattle is winning, they're loving life right now....no reason to change anything from their perspective. We just have to deal with the reality of it until some adversity / injuries occur.
Of course he’s not done. He’s probably not confident, he’s not getting consistently fed to get in a rhythm. Hes a young kid 1/4 way thru his first year.
They’ve won their last 2 games riding Dowdle. Yes Hubbard got a contract but the coach also wants to keep his job. His job is to win games and dowdle is helping him do that.
Part of the problem is that they’re winning. they don’t need him at this point and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Vrabel is as old school as they come in today’s nfl.
