I'm not down on either, but I think people's expectations are slightly too high for this year. Be careful with both. I've seen every Bama game past 3 years...Jones drops too many balls. I'm slighly down on Green because there's no way Dalton is going to be ready. Keep your eye out next year...

Agreed. Jones was inconsistent and dropped lots of balls last two years.

Manning is the best regular season quarterback I've ever seen. I always put more weight into playoff runs and super bowls though, and Manning has never been consistently great in those situations. Gearing up for a super-bowl run in a competitive league, I'd take Brady over Manning.

Not to mention a record 5 super bowl appearances, no other QB has done that. He was dealt a bad hand for most of his career as far as offensive system that did not exploit his incredible talent, and a lack of great weapons, yet still led his team to 3 super bowls. I can't speak pre-1980...
