I could see McCoy putting up 3 or 4 td's and 300-400 yards similar to Rodgers. What do you think Newton's running stats will look like assuming 16 games?
Colt McCoy is no slouch when it comes to running.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htpJjUAdkbohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAyiN-8Nr00http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bokbhwcFIQ
1. Jets, Ravens, Chiefs and Bears don't make the playoffs
2. 49ers have a top 3 defense (Aldon Smith wins ROY)
3. Colts still win the division, Texans win 6 or 7 games
4. Vincent Jackson is the #1 fantasy WR
5. Andrew Luck pulls an Eli Manning/John Elway and refuses to play for...
sorry bout that.1st half thoughts.9ers D looks good, Aldon Smith is a force already. Their offense is having major protection issues, Gregg Williams is dialing up blitzes like it's the regular season. Kap came in and looked ok. Couple nice throws, couple bad ones, couple 3rd down runs for...
I just finished reading The Blind Side by Michael Lewis, which spent a good portion of the book talking about Bill Walsh's ability to take mediocre QB's and turn them in to star performers. If Harbaugh turns out to be the west-coast/qb guru he's advertised as, wouldn't this in turn help to...
I'm not down on either, but I think people's expectations are slightly too high for this year. Be careful with both. I've seen every Bama game past 3 years...Jones drops too many balls. I'm slighly down on Green because there's no way Dalton is going to be ready. Keep your eye out next year...
Owens. Couple reasons. Played harder and was a better blocker. Ran every route. And at his best he was better than Moss. Two examples. The playoff game against the Giants when he was on the 49ers and they came back in the 2nd half entirely because of him. Caught two TD passes and...
Manning is the best regular season quarterback I've ever seen. I always put more weight into playoff runs and super bowls though, and Manning has never been consistently great in those situations. Gearing up for a super-bowl run in a competitive league, I'd take Brady over Manning.
Not to mention a record 5 super bowl appearances, no other QB has done that. He was dealt a bad hand for most of his career as far as offensive system that did not exploit his incredible talent, and a lack of great weapons, yet still led his team to 3 super bowls. I can't speak pre-1980...
