    My projections for 2009

    1. I started with the 32 teams and came up with what I thought were reasonable projections for (Number of plays and what percentage of those would be run/pass, then did the same for yards and TDs. Fumbles were basically last year numbers, completion percentage and interceptions were based on...

    My projections for 2009

One suggestion...once you get the projections the way you like, you need to copy and paste special the player projections tab. that way you can sort, filter, create a cheatsheet....whatever. You cannot do this with the player projection tab now because it has too many formulas in it.

    My projections for 2009

Thanks for the feedback. I am sure the projections at this point are similar to FBG and most sites, as I like to start with a somewhat solid base before I start tweaking. The beauty of the spreadsheeet is that it is easy to tweak.

    My projections for 2009

I have done this the past 3 years, but never felt confident enough to share them; not sure I am more confident this year, but interested in any comments. The process: 1. I start out with my projections for the NFL as a whole..(You would be surprised how much it does NOT change from year to...

    The perfect cheatsheet

Thanks for the comments. That was a good point about playoff weeks. You could easily make an arguement for having those in there as well as a weight, and probably a good idea. Unfortunately this year, I am drafting at the end of the first round and it is a 1 player keeper league, and my...

    The perfect cheatsheet

I am a big proponent of VBD, but also use strength of schedule, total points (and to a lesser extent injury concerns, consistency) in my rankings. Each year, I put together my cheatsheet sort it by VBD and have little notes and highlighted colors to signify consistency, injury or strength of...

    Player Spotlight: Maurice Jones-Drew

    Although, I do expect quite a bit of production out of MJD this year, not up to your standards...5.0 yds/carry almost. Some of the projections so far: 185/995 = 5.38 180/1000 = 5.56 230/1080 = 4.70 150/600 = 4.00 225/1120 = 4.98 230/1200 = 5.21 Granted last year he had 5.66 yds per...

    Defense By Committee

For comparison purposes...BLOX, I have Miami/San Francisco as the #71 combination at 131pts possible. That is after taking out (Carolina, Chicago, Baltimore, Minnesota, and Jacksonville). I kept Pittsburgh in the mix. Take Pittsburgh out and move them up to #56.

    Defense By Committee

Okay, I have taken out my top 5 defenses (Chicago, Baltimore, Minnesota, Jacksonville, and Carolina) and also took Pittsburgh out, although I think they will have a big decline this year. This is what I have come up with. As you can see Buffalo is in a lot of combinations, but I think their...

    Defense By Committee

I took out Chicago and Baltimore for obvious reasons. My Leauge scoring is a little light on defense scoring (6-TD, 1 turnover, 2 safety, 5 for shutout, and 6pts-0pts based on yardage) so keep that in mind. Interesting note, Buffalo and Pittsburgh have the same bye week, but still ranked on...

Defense Combos/Team By Committee (DTBC) for 2007

That did not post worth a darn. HOpefully it makes sense.
