I'm wondering if anyone was offered Jacobs for Bradshaw straight up?
I thought about just jumping on this offer, but after looking at this thread, now I'm not so sure. I picked up Bradshaw in a deal last week and his value is sky high right now, but it seems like a lot of guys think he'll hold...
It all comes down to who is tied. In a lot of the possible scenarios, the Steelers may need KC and/or the Titans to be in the mix at 9-7 to be a shield against Denver and/or Jacksonville.
Either way, it's a really long shot, and they must win both of their games. It's better for the Steelers...
In terms of who I'd want as a GM, my order:
Liriano
Verlander
Weaver
Papelbon
Lots of great young guns right now.
One thing that is overlooked in the closer argument is the K-rate of Gagne. Gagne's 137 strikeouts, put him on another level IMO, when making comparisions between his big...
Yeah, that's a good point. I was sitting here a couple days ago and had some game on TV, and I think some anaylst said they don't throw 2-seam fastballs in Japan. You serious?
Yes. He has been elite ever since he started in MLB.
Where was Ichiro in early May? You couldn't find his name, then he gets on one of his usual hot streaks, and he is now right behind Joe Mauer.
Accumulating stats matter in baseball, but in this case, it shouldn't matter IMO.
Okay. I do agree with that statement as well.
Personally, I believe the Steelers are a regular season machine. They always underachieved in the postseason prior to last year, but we are talking regular season and not the playoffs. The team is still intact besides Randel El, Hope, and Kimo...
Really? In the regular season? Or winning the Super Bowl? Two totally different things, but in terms of the regular season, if Roethlesberger is healthy, that team is an absolute machine. Toss it around, get a lead, run out the clock, game over. It's a very easy formula they have. I'd...
Seattle is an amazing team, but, we are talking about a team that won 3 on the road in the AFC. Before the playoffs, I would've taken all 6 AFC teams over the best the NFC had to offer. The AFC is vastly superior.Anyways, I see it like another game in this Roethlesberger era. Pittsburgh comes...
Well, I know Denver had that differential, this was just coming from a guy who has watched a lot of Steeler games in the 26-4 era. This is what they "usually" do. Again though, it is hard to pick out if you don't watch a lot or all of the Steeler games. I fully expect them to do it again vs...
