Any worries about John Brown's hamstring for Monday Night? Thankfully, I could throw Ellington in there in a pinch. Other Flex options would be Mike Evans or Christine Michael. Already going with Moncrief and Landry at WR. Thanks!
Complex, and (hopefully) interesting strategy question. I have the #1 waiver so I wanted to wait until late in the week to pick up a 2nd defense (want to keep the Pack for Peyton next week). That way whoever I drop, I can pick back up immediately next week if something changes over the weekend...
We've thought Luck would play before, only to be ruled out late. If for some reason it happens again, who do I drop for an emergency QB? If it's a game-time decision, it would have to be Hasselbeck, unless I make a preemptive move.
No-PPR, 2 RB/2 WR/Flex
QB Luck
RB Bell, Freeman, Ellington...
Short bench, so I don't back up QB/TE/K/D. If Luck can't go, who do I drop for an emergency fill-in? Or do you think a Stafford/Winston/Alex Smith/Fitzpatrick type is a better choice even if a dinged up Luck does play?
Start 2RB/2WR/Flex, no-PPR
QB - Luck
RB - Ellington, Freeman, Karlos...
General philosophy question: When you have multiple High Floor/High Ceiling choices, do you prefer to balance Ceilings with Floors or go all out Ceiling hoping to hit?
This week I could go almost any combination of these:
Team 1: WR & Flex from Freeman/Landry/V-Jax (Floor) and...
Big issues on one team with Ellington joining Bell on the shelf, and Mike Evans just now trying to rejoin my upside WR2 crew. No-PPR and need to start 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 Flex from:
RB: DeAngelo, Crowell, Freeman, Karlos (OUT: Bell, Ellington)
WR: Evans, John Brown, Landry, Moncrief
Not excited...
Evans emergency! 2RB/2WR/Flex no-PPR:
RB: DWilliams (Thu), Ellington (4 PM)
WR: Landry (1 PM), John Brown (4 PM) <-- or Evans (4 PM) if active?
Flex: Crowell (1 PM)
Bench: Evans, Moncrief (1 PM), Colston (4 PM), Freeman (Mon)
Should I plug Crowell in at Flex automatically? Even if Evans...
Obligatory detailed DeMarco Murray question, just because it has more to do with risk/reward strategy than a simple A>B question:
Standard scoring (1 per 10 yards, 6 per TD, no PPR)
Start 2RB/2WR or 1RB/3WR
RB roster by gametime:
1:00 - Lamar Miller
4:30 - DeMarco Murray/Joseph Randle...
Idiot kicker query: Concern for Catanzaro with Cardinals QB questions? Could go McManus at Jets but CC has been getting tons of FG opps whoever has been in.
No PPR WR2:
DJax early (if he goes)
Torrey Smith early (safe play if DJax out)
Decker (Monday questionable but maybe worth the risk if DJax out?)
Thanks for being my favorite Football Guy with your personalized touch. You're the best.
With the Chiefs playing at 4, my Jamaal Charles contingency plan is one of the tougher calls I've had to make. So many variables!
1) Play it safe with Garçon, Wayne, or Woodhead at Flex in the early game, and play either Charles if he goes, or Ivory if he doesnt?
2) Risk not starting one of...
On the plus side for fantasy owners, that does make for fewer difficult late-game injury decisions to make.
If anything, I think the more egregious schedule problems are with the CONTINUOUS repitition of the exact same teams over and over in prime time week after week.
