    The appeal is over the suspension. Even if the commissioner ruled that Cleveland couldn't suspend Winslow, they could still bench him or inactivate him for Sunday's game, they'd just have to pay him.

    I've had ties in my leagues that use decimal scoring. Decimal scoring doesn't eliminate ties, just makes them less likely. You still need rules for tiebreakers.

    There exists the possibility that team B could beat either A1 or A2 and still lose. That is unfair to team B who should only be required to play one team in the SB.

    No, it isn't 100% fair to B1. Both of your math is completely correct, and in one case it screws B1, in the other case it helps B1. In each case, it affects B1 which isn't fair at all to that team. Just because you can choose numbers that make it seem beneficial doesn't make it fair.I hope...
