Joe Flacco, would you marry me? I'm a stinky unattractive sixty-ish grey-haired fat guy, but I simply love you for pulling my backside into week 10. One more request: next week 10k, Patrick Mahomes is on his bye, and so are you, since you got traded to Cincy. And now my 3rd QB, CJ Stroud, is...
I think 80% skill in picking your roster and 20% luck gets you to Week 15, and then 20% skill and 80% luck takes over for the last 3 weeks. Personally, I consider it a total win for me if I just make it into the playoffs.
I agree and I've said it before - it's better to roster more middle-of-the-road players than a high dollar player or two at each position. And use all 30 roster positions with relatively cheap kickers and defenses. This spreads the risks of injury and bye weeks and poor performances out evenly...
I'm at 175 with the same two (-7.5 & -9.2), plus Mahomes (-31). They'd have to collectively go off if I were to reach 200. I got 199.80, but never 200. Love to join the Club but I'm pretty content with scoring comfortably over the cut line every week, so far. Anti-jinx spray being applied to...
I don't want to kick a Football Guy when he's down, but that can be engineered around before the season starts. In all likelihood, there were other issues in this week's rooster for you. Good luck, I hope you pull through.
I am learning that you really need to spend between $40 - $45 on at least 3 viable, likely to play QBs. It's a lot for just one of 10 positions, but it's the one that scores you the most points every week.
I haven't heard anything yet here in Houston, but Woody Marks looked totally spent on that late 4th Quarter TD catch last night, and maybe even injured as he gingerly shuffled back to the bench.
I swear, TreVeyon Henderson must be in the Doghouse or something. When he plays (extremely limited) his performance looks good regarding average yard, catches, I don't watch many NE games but is he fumbling? Does he have an attitude problem? They need a reliable running back but they aren't...
Me too, I have six RBs and only $37 on the top two. $62 total. I'm counting on the RBs to contribute just for the RB scoring categories, because they only get 1/2 point per reception. Also, yards seem to be down this year, because of better starting kickoff scrimmage lines. With good WR and...
Totally agree about return on investment. The QB position typically returns at least 15 points and up to ridiculous numbers like 42 points per week. None of the other 9 scoring slots come close to that average weekly contribution. That doesn't mean to spend $75 on a QB group, but neither...
