The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

If you’re saying we should let things play out before jumping to conclusions, I’m on board with that. In the meantime, the process does need oversight and I think it’s fair to raise questions when there’s an appearance of bias. The highlights I saw from the Rosenstein hearing showed some good...

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

Why in the world would I make that up? Do you think I would be embarrassed to have searched for information about the Mueller probe directly? I wouldn’t be.

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

I came across it by doing a search, but the search had nothing to do with politics or Trump or Mueller. I was Christmas shopping online and Amazon recommended a new book about WW2 as a gift. My dad likes history and WW2 and the book has great reviews. I googled the author to find out more about...

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

You guys did a decent job before of convincing me that the Mueller probe is the appropriate means to investigate Trump-Russia. But then I read this and it also seems very convincing: http://victorhanson.com/wordpress/one-mueller-investigation-coincidence-too-many/ The author is a college...

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

She's not some random hack off the street. She interviewed for the Deputy Attorney General position.

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

I don't know why Flynn lied to the FBI. I admit that's hard to explain innocently. But Flynn's wrongdoing doesn't implicate Trump unless it's to say that Trump should have micromanaged his underlings more closely, like a helicopter President. I know that Sessions and Kushner and others (Don...

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

Bookmarking here because I’m not trying to dodge the questions you guys are asking. I’ll come back to this spot in the thread later when I have a chance and try to respond then.

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

This seems like splitting hairs. The point is that a Post reporter got something wrong because he was overly eager to believe something that made Trump look bad.

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

No, I’ll obviously want to know what journalists have to say about it. They’re the ones following all of this stuff closely.

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

Yes, I thought it was informative because it presented a lot of information I hadn’t been aware of previously. The reporter obviously knows a lot more about the subject than I do, so why wouldn’t I want to hear what she has to say?

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

The Post reporter retracted the misleading image he sent out about the crowd size of the Florida rally.

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

Yeah. When I posted the Fox News video a little while ago, sho nuff dismissed it without even watching it. I’m not going to do that. I want to actually see something so that I can evaluate it before I decide whether or not it’s trusteorthy. I haven’t seen the results of the Mueller investigation...

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

I think Fox News is like any other news station. They try to report accurately but they’re not always perfect. I don’t see any reason to think they get more stuff wrong than CNN does. They just err in different directions. I obviously won’t agree ahead of time to accept the results of Mueller’s...

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

I don’t know how to move forward because it’s hard to know what sources to trust. There don’t seem to be any sources we can trust. It seems like there is misinformation and misreporting coming from everywhere. It seems like CNN and the Washington Post are retracting something new almost every...

The Russia Investigation: Trump Pardons Flynn

You’re right, I phrased that wrong, but Mueller’s investigation does seem to be an extension of Comey’s in a lot of ways.
