2-0 with RBs as first two picks. 14 team league. I had the 11th pick with a serpentine draft.
1) T. Henry
2) R. Johnson
WRs are P. Burress, H. Ward, B. Marshall, D. Stallworth and P. Crayton.
WOW - that's the funniest and WEAKEST argument I've ever read here. And there's been a lot. Let's remove Oakland from the statement above and try something Broncos fans could have said (if not so moronic) the last few years...
Jake Plummer...moved the ball pretty well throughout the game, and...
Try watching the Denver/Oakland game with Rich Gannon doing the CBS analysis. When Porter got their only offensive touchdown Gannon actually yelled "We got'em now!" I think he momentarily forgot where he was and what he was doing...again.
I got Travis Henry in the first round with the 11th pick in a 14 team league. I got Rudi in the second round with the 18th overall pick. So in my league, you were right. He was overlooked for sexier picks but at the 18th spot, he was a steal.
Nice avatar. I think he asked for obvious busts. Sure either one of those two could be a bust, BUT - and this is a big BUT - anyone running in Denver should not be considered an obvious bust.
Hey, nice website/blog! I agree that he is going to do well in the future. Somehow I just cannot get excited about NFL Europa though. I've tried watching it, and it doesn't even hold my attention as long as the Arena league.
Now I can give you your own opinion w/o stating for a fact that you are wrong. I said my stance is my opinion, too. However, I can debate the competency for the argument. I jumped into this thing because Scheffler was being dismissed with "only 18 career receptions" by an SD fan. I brought much...
Absolutely. While he got 2nd in the voting for Defensive Player of the Year last season, it was a close vote with many thinking he should have got 1st. I agree because he has far fewer chances to make a play than a linebacker. The two things that stand out to me about last season - above all his...
+1 on Bush for offense.Another 1st round talent landing in the 4th was Marcus Thomas. Time will tell on the character issues but IF it works out, he will have been a steal in the 4th.
It is hard to debate with you when you aren't following the full debate to begin with. I am agreeing with SSOG that Graham/Scheffler = Gates/Manu. Aren't Gates/Manu considered the top 2 TEs on SD? If not, just go Gates/whoever you want. Argument still holds true IMHO. On the SD game, you are...
That's not a prediction - notice the IF in the statement?I did not claim they have similar abilities either. Don't put words in my mouth and keys in my fingers.
However, if you apply what I said and actually read it without adding to it - it does back up SSOG's argument that Scheffler is...
The last 5 Denver games - Cutler's first 5 starts - were a hot streak? That statement is just as broad of a stroke IMHO.And I'm not saying it all comes up Denver by any means. I am saying I agree w/ SSOG on the TE debate above.
Let's breakdown Denver's TE2 Scheffler's 2006 season before knocking his 18 career receptions. Scheffler didn't play or start in all the games last year. What is really worth noting is Scheffler's performance when Cutler started at QB vs. when Plummer started at QB. Cutler started the last 5...
The only thing I believe the Chargers have proven this year is that Martyball is still alive and well. If this is a close game, and I believe it will be, history says the Steelers will win. Incredible talent on the Chargers team but Marty sits on a lead. If - and I say if - Big Ben gets back to...
