Awesome. My wife and I have been together for 11+ years now. Her dad was a college football player and high school coach. He would scoff every time I mentioned analytics in a football conversation. But over the years, I've noticed he's much more receptive to it now.
To me, it signals that they have faith in McCaffrey's health and like Guerendo enough to be his backup. But I'm not ignoring the trade value either. We've seen a lot of RBs look good in SF's offense and then faceplant with their next team. There was smoke last offseason about Ty Chandler being...
We are all just football lovers. I've been lurking for years, but was too afraid to dip my toes in the waters. But I'll be making a more concerted effort going forward. I like the level of conversation here. I cut my teeth in mid-2000s /r/fantasyfootball threads and the vibes here are similar.
Obviously different staffs selected these players. But Kendre Miller was an early 3rd-rounder who has dealt with injuries throughout his career. Neal was a 6th. They're just about a year apart in age, too, as Miller came into the league young. I think Miller is just a better prospect/player than...
He was getting reps with the first team on Thursday.

They've really been mixing it up in New Orleans so far. Entirely new staff with a bunch of incumbent pieces. I don't think the coaching staff even knows the pecking order yet. But I...
I like what I see on the field much more than what his efficiency numbers say. And I'll defer to Matt Waldman here, who does much better at film analysis than I can ever dream of. He really liked what he saw last year, too.

Kendre should be the RB2. It seems like his lack of play was more of a vendetta against him from Dennis Allen than any knock on his actual play. In the few flashes we saw, he looked great. And still very young.
Thanks @JoeSteeler. Working with Alfredo and Jeff makes the shows fun. I've worked with a wide range of people in the past. But it's just so natural and easy with those dudes.
Thanks for reading, y'all. I'll be doing this every Friday between now and kickoff. There's obviously a lot more news that doesn't make this list, but this is a new weekly crash course.
Sleeper has an option for median scoring. You essentially play two matchups every week: one against your opponent and one against the rest of the league. You can go 0-2, 1-1, or 2-0 on any given week. I like it quite a bit, as you still get the fun H2H factor while removing some of the luck.
Thanks so much for saying that, Bri. As much as I'd love to take credit, this year was 100% my wife. She loves planning events like this and takes a lot of pride in making everyone feel welcomed and included.
