    Romo, Farve Owners

Bought Romo at auction. Then got Ben cheap. Then noticed my problem with Romo's bye and Ben's suspension. To cover my Romo bye I then bought Stafford. Now I'm sitting here with 3 QB's and nobody for W4. Can't work a deal to save my ask. If I can't do something I will waive Stafford for...

I'm starting CJ Spiller this week...

I am also afraid of the "trap", but Forte had two outstanding games in his miserable '09, both vs. DET. Can't overlook that. Good luck with Spiller. Hope he blows sky high. I still have plenty of time to reap.

I'm starting CJ Spiller this week...

Sitting Spiller for Best, Forte and Harrison. Best is best, can't sit Forte vs. the Lions and Harrison is a safer play if not spectacular. I love CJ, but I bought into others advice earlier in the week who said CJ really had to prove his press releases, whereas Harrison already has a track...

    QB match ups Week 1

After reading all the way through this thread today I'm wondering if anyone out there would choose to start Stafford (CHI) over Romo (WA). I may lack the objectivity (being a life-long Lions fan) to make the right call here. Love to hear your opinions.

    QB match ups Week 1

Know that a Martz offense accepts INT's as a necessary evil, so to speak. Does your league penalize for interceptions? Also, Cutler hasn't proven he has mastered the subtleties of the Martz scheme, not to mention the receivers. I think they're fortunate to have the Lions to experiment upon...

Spiller named starter in W1... (from RotoWire)

Spiller is ranked ahead of my other RBs (Best, Forte, RBush and Harrison) in FBG's W1 Content pages.

    QB match ups Week 1

Nice post. I'm sitting on Romo and Stafford. I'll surely go with Romo, but I think he'll have a more difficult time with the 'Skins than people are expecting. I hope not, but the pre-season was not a Romo (or DAL) showcase, by any means. I would not be surprised to see Stafford blow up...

Spiller named starter in W1... (from RotoWire)

Spiller is sitting atop the Bills' depth chart in their first weekly game release of the season, BuffaloBills.com reports. Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch are both listed as the backup with a slash separating their names.http://www.rotowire.com/football/player.htm?id=6478 They go on to...

trying auction, need quick tips/strategy for tomorrow

The mock auctions are very time-consuming and, to an extent, misleading, as are many mock drafts. You get people leaving in the middle and the computer takes over to play out the string. Some guys just want to mock until the top players are gone. Either way, you can't take mocks as Bible, as...

trying auction, need quick tips/strategy for tomorrow

Done several auctions. Prices are inflated at first, usually, but sometimes the first guy nominated at a certain position, e.g., RB, actually goes for a couple bucks less than the second guy at the postion. Ex: Peyton, 1st nom, went for $23, then Rodgers (32), Brees (29), Brady (25), Romo(16)...

    Bears vs Det

The question will be whether or not Cutler can find the time to find his receivers. He'll be under a lot of pressure in his first game in Martz's offense, which should be difficult for him. The Lions secondary will certainly help Cutler, but there's an outside chance that there will be enough...
