With Flacco being named starter. Do I pickup Josh Downs and drop Pickens in a 1/2 pt.? Downs has produced with competent qb play while Pickens has proven to be boom or bust. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Cutler looked as comfortable on Sunday since he came to Chicago. Seems like the Bears have finally figured out how to play to his strengths. Add the fact that Bennett was back. It reminded me of the Cutler to Royal connection in Denver.
I'm not saying he has no value but he is clearly not right. Based on his past history and current status I would rather not deal with the headache week to week. I will gladly let someone else deal with it. Tate has much more upside especially playing weaker teams. Houston should clinch early and...
I played Rice, Murray and Bush all ahead of Beanie in week nine. If I had no confidence starting him against the Rams at home then when would I. That is all I needed to decide it was time to drop him. I may be wrong. JMHO
We can carry 4 RBs and only have to start one but can play as many as 3. My backs are Rice, Murray, Michael Bush and now Tate. I see no further upside with Beanie and Tate offers much more for various reasons.
Dropping Beanie for Tate. May seem extreme but he is dealing with two injuries now. He seems to be tapped out. Playing behind a backup QB doesn't help plus Tate is most likely the better play going forward.
