I'm going to get into a 14-team non-keeper league that drafts in 2 weeks. We start 2RB-3WR-TE. Need some sites that focus on unmining big-time players outside the top 50 picks...hopefully with a good explanation for their picks...
I've been using fantasyquants and fantasysharks in addition to...
My league tilts toward receiving by RBs:
1-LT
2-SJax
3-LJ
4-Gore
5-Westbrook
6-Bush
7-Addai
8-Manning
9-Parker
10-Maroney
I think there is a bit of a cliff after another 2 RBs in a 10 team league. 2nd round should be loaded with top WR's.
Crumpler gets ticked down several spots. A lot of his yards and TDs came when he was wide open on a VIck scrambled play. The WR's might get a few more yards with joeey back there not running at all.
Edge is one of the few workhorse backs left in the NFL. His touches will ensure that he stays in the top-15, but he's unlikely in AZ to get back to the top 5.
fantasyquants.com has some cool stuff - they do some interesting statistical analysis of players when prepping for a draft -- moneyball approach - limited info, though
Dont count Vick out just yet. We've seen indictments dropped (Duke) and professional athletes play entire seasons before the legal system takes its course of action. Imagine landing Vick in the teen rounds and having him return from a 4 game suspension and run for 1000 yards in 12 games...
