I agree with you Benson has done a great job but you would think the Bengals would have limited Benson's carries if they were more confident in either Scott or Leonard. I can argue that Benson's injury comes from him getting TOO MANY carries BECAUSE OF a lack of confidence in Scott and...
Another thing to note is 3 of the last 7 games for the Bengals are against AFC West teams (Raiders, Chargers, Chiefs), teams LJ is familiar with (and vice-versa).
If the Bengals were really high on Scott, wouldn't they have given him more touches prior to Benson getting hurt? Scott only had 16 carries for 62 yards and 1 target in 8 games, with no touches in 3 games prior to last week. While he was going up against the tough Steelers defense, 13 for 33...
I went against popular opinion and started MSW. Other than the Tenn game, he has put up great numbers all year. Even in the Tenn game, Garrard missed him for an open TD. If the Jets are going to sell out to stop MJD (8-9 in the box) and force Garrard to pass, MSW has a chance. The Jets are a...
I'm not surprised you would defend McNabb considering your chosen screen name, but your arguments are oversimplified generalizations.CLAIM #1: No deep pass plays for Kolb
Eagles vs. Saints: 4th play of Eagles opening drive, Kolb deep pass to Jackson for a 71 yard TD, tying the game 7-7...
The big picture is that under Kolb, Celek is a 8-10 catch 80-100 yard guy, an elite TE who is Kolb's 1st or 2nd option, someone who will win matchups for you.
Under McNabb, Celek is a 3-5 catch 30 yard guy, who looks like McNabb's last option, a TE who will lose matchups for you.
It unfortunately counted for me and every other Celek owner that needed points from him last night. McNabb isn't even looking for Celek. If he dumps off, he goes to his favorite guy Westbrook. It's gotten to the point where Celek owners have to think about getting another TE. I can't speak for...
My league champ had a 6-8 regular season record, then beat the #1 (12-2) and #2 (11-3) seeds to win it all. Dallas Clark got hot the last 2 weeks and carried him to the title.
Excellent analysis :fishing: My thoughts on the Pats:
It's hard to base an opinion on only 2 games, but I watched the past 2 Pats games and Cassel has been unstoppable. The Pats OL has blocked well, giving him good protection, and he keeps finding the open guy even when blitzed. The INT last...
I saw this coming before the Jets beat both the Pats and the formerly undefeated Titans on the road. Only now, Favre is no longer a weakness. This Jets team can win it all. They are a complete team. They still have to take care of business but they should be favored in all their remaining games.
This game showed what a great coach Belichick is. The Pats came in seriously undermanned and were badly beaten just before the end of the first half, yet came back all the way and probably would've won this game had it not been for Favre's last drive in OT. On the other hand, the Jets coaches...
I can see Hillis getting 15 carries with 5+ targets. If the Broncos are trailing, maybe he gets fewer carries but more targets. Like you said, the Broncos will have game planned for Hillis being the starting RB this week. Go with BGJE if you think the Pats will be winning late so they use him to...
Why not hold on and see what happens with SJax, and if he doesn't play, go with Peyton Hillis? Falcons give up 4.9 yards per carry and they're not going to stack the box against Cutler & co. It's highly unlikely Tatum Bell's in game shape so Hillis will likely get most of the touches, get...
Only Detroit, SF, and Pittsburgh have given up more sacks than NE (30) so far this year. Meanwhile the NYJ have the 2nd most sacks (31) in the league. Seems like the Jets could be pressuring Cassel all day. Advantage Jets.
On the other hand, the Jets have given up 16 sacks, good for 12th in the...
