We can at least say the Patriots didn't reach for any of their 2nd and 3rd round players. Henderson and Williams seem to be picked close to their consensus ranking. Wilson might have been a minor steal. He's someone that could have been picked at #77 and been a solid choice there.

The Patriots have traded down twice in the third round. Pick # 77 (the Judon pick) became # 85 and then became # 95. The Patriots seem to have added a 2025 round 5 pick from Carolina (#146) and a 2026 round 4 pick from Kansas City (estimated high 120s/low 130s). My quick draft chart math...

Rhamandre Stevenson signed a four-year, $36 million deal last summer. It looks like the Pats can get out of the contract after the 2026 season without a dead-cap hit. I'd expect a run-heavy offense from the Patriots as a way of assisting and protecting Drake Maye in the short term.

In an effort to be optimistic about Will Campbell even if he eventually settles in as a left guard, I decided to look up exactly where John Hannah was drafted. Hannah was drafted 4th overall in 1973. At the time, he was considered a bit small for the NFL.

Chiefs gained 15.8 draft chart points. (worth and early/mid 6th rounder)

I'll predict they have a specific offensive lineman targeted and don't want the Chiefs to take him.

It would be a shock to see him drop lower than New Orleans at 40. Cleveland at 33 (and 36) and Las Vegas at 37 are other possibilities.

Guard is supposed to be a reasonably deep position in this draft. There should be some options available in the second round. I think Center is weak in this draft.

It's a reach but I've seen Tyler Booker projected to go late in the 1st round.
