Long time subscriber, love the show, would love your opinions.
I've been in a dynasty league for several years, and year after year have the deepest team in the league. I've had a pretty dominant team the past few years, but the rest of the league has been catching up, and I don't like the...
For some reason, the two guys in this group I have the hardest time ranking are James Davis and Gartrell Johnson.
If any of you can help shed light on these two guys on particular, it would be much appreciated.
I agree that this is a valid question. He may not be 6'6", or run a 4.3. But he's a pretty complete package.
It's hard to imagine Braylon will still be there a year from now. There's no reason to shy away from Robiskie.
No Bernard Scott love on this thread so far?
If the guy can stay out of jail he could be a rare talent. I've seen gushing reviews about him...when he's actually on the field.
If that doesn't sound like he's worth a flier I don't know what does. And once you get past the first couple rounds...
Count me as one who hasn't given up on Matt Leinart yet.
Sometimes sitting and watching for a while works out OK. Ask Aaron Rodgers, who looked pretty wretched early in his career.
I got him in the third round of my dynasty rookie draft. He doesn't really do a whole lot for me, but it's a good value pick. I doubt he'll make my final roster, but if Brandon Jacobs blows an ACL or something, you never know.
James Jones. He's been turning heads all summer, and led the team in receptions in their first preseason game, so he's not just a practice player.
If Donald Driver goes down, he could be a hot commodity.
One thing to at least consider, when it comes to passing yards.
Favre needs 3,862 yards this season to pass Marino for the all-time record.
I know that teams always say that they don't consider things like that, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were a subtle emphasis down the stretch to...
Thanks for the advice. My thoughts are pretty much the same as yours.
Michael Clayton put up such great numbers as a rookie, it's hard to give up on him in favor of some other unproven guy. But it's a matter of "what have you done for me lately."
And even though I'm going to likely cut him...
Wannabe/Jeff: I'm enjoying your lists. Re: the WR's it's kind of hard for me to swallow two Lions in the top 10. I have Roy Williams in a dynasty league, and maybe I'm being too pessimistic but I see his numbers dropping significantly. Not as much as Mike Furrey's, but still significantly...
