    I read several Elmore Leonard books, then tried to read Last of the Mohicans. About three horrible chapters in I ditched it and got a bunch more Elmore Leonard books.

    David Simon also wrote the book that Homicide: Life on the Streets was based on. I really liked The Wire, but I think I liked Homicide better.

    I can imagine some of the large cocktail party scenes could go off the rails fast. I first saw it when I was about 8 or 9 and it was incredible.

    The gun okay when you first got it, but was Top Five All Time when you realized you could replace the plastic disks with pennies.

    I'd rather watch the first season of Wiseguy than the Godfather. The Steelgraves and the Profitts were awesome, plus you get Breaking Bad Mike playing for the other side.
