I would assume that is the case, also I would like to know your leagues setup that allows for more than one player to be awarded in a round.

and to answer your question yes the $5 bid is ignored.

Unless they changed something, you are only awarded 1 player per round and all rounds are essentially buckets and a player that is higher priced in someones round 2 will beat out someones round 1 that is lower priced.

How do you keep people that have no chance at playoffs interested? In multiple leagues this year where week 13 has 6+ teams vying for 1-2 remaning playoff spots, and of course teams that are out of it aren't putting their best foot forward.

I am in a similar situation, as a GM i have decided to take our 4 division league down to a 2 or 1 division league. I put a poll up to see what owners wanted and it was almost unanimous that they wanted a 2 division league over a 1 division league. I like both arguments, a 1 division league...
