Went for the first time in the fall. Was there for work then my wife joined me for a few days. For work, I stayed in Covent Garden, which was a beautiful area, but not a great location in my opinion. Once my wife got into town, we moved to South Bank, at the Marriott right next to the Eye...
I've tried for days to find footage of the actual play in which he got cut, but I haven't been able to. Having not personally ever played full-gear ice hockey, I don't totally understand how your foot gets cut that bad while in a skate... any insight?
He looked like a different player last night. Much more situationally aware. The one shot he made where he pulled it in and went through the legs of the defender was :o.
He could've easily had a goal and a few assists instead of just the 1 A.
Beauvillier is playing like a man possessed so...
My $0.02...If the guy is that bad, you don't have to say anything. It'll be evident over time if the Regional Manager is worth his salt as a people leader. If the Regional Manager is also a bum, then it wouldn't have mattered what you said to him anyway...
I think you risk fall-out by...
I used to hate it...but the more I watched it, the more I realized the only reason I hate it is because the Eagles are so good at it that it's almost an unfair advantage. There's nothing about the play that I really feel should be "illegal." With the right QB, it's not an injury concern issue...
Let's hope we bottle the energy we had in the 1st period and at the start of OT and not the tummy ache we had at the end of the 3rd.
As I told my wife, I hate to love playoff hockey. The Caps simply cannot win a playoff game by multiple goals and let me enjoy it. It's constant heart-attack...
I've genuinely wondered why no baseball team has tried to reincarnate the "Eddie Gaedel" strategy. It was great in concept, but Gaedel was still too tall at 3'7".
If the strike zone is defined as the area over home plate from midpoint between a batter's shoulders and the top of the uniform...
Totally. I've spent way too much on that site. Used to use REA for a lot of my high-end purchasing, but this site is way better. Some of the guys on here have insane access to inventory.
Here's another one...one of the worst yet. Full transparency, I'm not pro or anti-pit bull. I have zero interest in being around one, but I don't think the breed is inherently bad. They're a difficult dog to own, with a high selection bias towards being owned by bad pet owners. Bad combo. I...
Totally agree. Backyard Breaks is the epitome of what is wrong with the hobby - and they were accused of shill bidding a little bit ago...along with misogynistic comments and just general douche-baggery. They're not the only one, but they're almost the "model" for what a successful breaker...
I've bought tons of cards from here, and sold too. Agree - zero issues. The moderators are fantastic. It's by far the best place to sell cards as an individual who doesn't set up booths or have a shop.
Thanks - good info. I can say that C is the only one that I explicitly see it address. There is quantification of power consumption provided, and then it matches your power supply to that. I'll have to play around more.
Probably leaning pre-built or MicroCenter rep aided at this point -...
