I told the mediator I refused to pay. He agreed and told the defense they're getting the entire bill for the day. I think the defense counsel is being taken off the case.

Worst mediation of my career today. This was scheduled 5 months ago. Had a joint experts meeting, document laydown, settlement demand...5.5 hours of mediation and the defense made no offer, adjusters had no authority, and attorney had made no demands on third parties.
