I totally agree here. I'm leaning towards them trading down to get an extra 2nd rounder, giving them 4 picks between rounds 2 and 3, picking DE P. Merling with that late 1st round pick. They add OL and S in 2nd. Why are they drafting a OT, when they already paid Wharton OT money? Why not...

I totally agree w/ you. It would however give the Panther D the weak side missle the have missed since the departure of Mark Fields, a role Thomas Davis has not be able to master.

No. He would probably move back to the outside, his "natural" position. I believe he played outside at Miami.
