Eliminating as much luck as possible

Another thing to consider is that something like total points or All-Play would actually be more casual friendly in terms of keeping the more competitive owners interested in adopting less competitive owners into the league. The biggest problem with leagues of friends/coworkers is there is...

Is "All-play" basically like H2H but you play every opponent each week? That could be interesting.

Eliminating as much luck as possible

You can see though how in the real nfl, two teams directly affect each other. A team controls it's own destiny in the real nfl by being able to influence the other team through their actions. My fantasy football team can't do eff to the other player's team.Plus fantasy sports is much more like...

Eliminating as much luck as possible

Team B. Each week is important. Not just who's alive and has a good matchup in one week of the season. :goodposting:

Eliminating as much luck as possible

Yeah, I actually like fantasy basketball more than football because there is seemingly way less luck involved, and roto is actually alot more fun than H2H in basketball IMO. I just lose interest in H2H basketball because I feel like so much is not under my direct influence. I've never played...

Probability Cadillac Williams will remain RB1 in Tampa Bay

Yeah, maybe "brutal" was the wrong word. What initially struck me as disappointing that motivated me to post is that he doesn't really have any obvious easy matchups. Might be hard to pick the week to start him if he's your RB 4 in a league that starts 2, for example, whereas it could be alot...

Probability Cadillac Williams will remain RB1 in Tampa Bay

Of course the tough part with Caddy is that TB has a brutal schedule without many matchups where they might be considered favorites: @ Philadelphia, vs Carolina, vs New England, Bye, Green Bay, @ Miami, vs New Orleans, @ Atlanta, @ Carolina, vs NY Jets, @ Seattle, @ New Orleans Not alot of...

Probability Cadillac Williams will remain RB1 in Tampa Bay

It will be interesting to see if Faine, their C, will come back in week 6 and have a noticeable impact on their rushing production. Probably won't be able to tell what we have here until then and after the tough Eagles matchup.

Full-time guy??? What does this mean for Ward?

    wannabee Strategy Thread

Hey Jeff, So bye weeks are coming and players are being shed off of rosters. And I'm looking to shed DMC. Right now, Caddy is a FA. Larry Johnson and Eddie Royal are on waivers. Jermichael Finley is a FA, which is pretty thin for TEs since everyone but me is holding onto two of them...

Probability Cadillac Williams will remain RB1 in Tampa Bay

Yeah I'm curious about this situation, too. Seems like the beginning of fantasy season honeymoon is over and him (and LJ) hit the wire this week for owners with some bye week issues elsewhere. Thinking about dumping DMC for one of them, and really interested in any homer info regarding what...

    Is LJ basically untradeable?

He's had a pretty brutal schedule so far though? He hasn't been producing against these tough teams, for sure, but he got alot of yards against the Raiders. If he had a touchdown or two from one of the short yardage situations, he would be right in the mix with a bunch of other rb3 ish...

    Jamarcus Russell

I was just going to post this. So far it seems like the arguments defending Russell have all been looking at his numbers and comparing those to other QBs that had a rough start statistically. But, don't the intangibles have to count for something? How many times has a QB had terrible...

    McFadden - Drop or Stash

I kind of want to drop him just to send a fantasy message to the rest of my fantasy team. Sort of like a fantasy public execution.

    Decimal scoring haters

As someone who had two ties in the 2007 season in the first 4 weeks and eventually missed the playoffs by a game, I can't help but roll my eyes at the cute "it's more like reality!!" arguments, heh.
