The VIX only spiked to 40 when the tariff announcement came out. That was a sudden event type thing, not people sitting on talk of bubbles and froth. The VIX was 21 prior to the tariff announcement (had peaked at 26 a few weeks earlier), and that was with the market already down 8%.

I agree with Todem our money is already digitized, it's like 99% of the way to being a stablecoin. It makes too much sense to just go that last 1% of the way and make it official.
Though isn't the risk with UST and USDC that the US government creates their own stablecoin? Again, it seems like...
Yep that was terrible. Corner route against cover 2 you have to get underneath the safety. That's what Jameis was counting on, and he just didn't run the route.
The point is obviously there's a huge difference between the 5 yard line and the 1 foot line, so "inside the 5" is intentionally leaving out the important part. You could also say "in the redzone" and it would be technically correct, but obviously misleading.
No one is kicking there with 1:45...
Good lord it's unbelievable how many people are saying this. Are ya'll even watching the game? It was an injury timeout. They were forced to use the timeout.
From the 1 yard line, yea. Totally fine with them going for it there. 1:45 still left, FG is meh. Not outlandish at all to go for it there. I would guess 28 other NFL teams do the same.
This is a bit of a misleading stat that unscrupulous sports writers use without context to drive a narrative/agenda that they've already decided on.
Catchable ball rate
AJ Brown: 57%
Davante Adams: 58%
Devonta Smith: 79%
Puka Nacua: 84%
So why are the catchable ball rates between AJB/DeVonta...
Yeah this is the concern. Especially since that's now 2 years in a row where they've gotten great production out of dirt cheap RBs after going into the season with everyone mocking them for how bad their RB situation was.
They've taken the "you don't have to pay RBs anything" to the extreme...
AJ Brown didn't play in that game.
Which again kind of proves the point. Since AJB started publicly whining, the only good game their offense has had was the one where AJB was missing.
But they have been using him. And he wasn't delivering a return on that usage.
Up until this last week he was on pace for 125 targets, which would've been the 3rd highest of his career. So not crazy high Jamar Chase level or anything, but reasonable and in line. But DeVonta was doing a lot...
The articles started coming out on Oct 1.
Since then it's 17, 17, 28, 10.
I pulled the wrong side of the box score on the last two.
The Eagles haven't scored 38 points in any game this year, so not sure where that one came from.
