"First round WR" does not equate to good WR necessarily. Draft position is misleading and those three receivers aren't nearly as good as they were "supposed" to be.

I would disagree about Martz being a failure as a head coach. I would agree that his Ram tenure had its ups and downs, but he had some pretty good years there. He nearly won a Super Bowl coaching the Rams....no small feat even with the talent they had. They made the playoffs most of the other years.

I look at # of carries more than age. RBs seem to hit a wall with a certain # of carries as opposed to a particular age....and like many have said, there are exceptions. Please don't tell Shaun Alexander that RBs peak at 25 and start to descend at 26....or Priest or Faulk. What a silly notion...

You think the NFL cares about that? I guess if it impacts the $$$, they do. The more I read about the NFL this off-season, the more I think they don't consider the desires of the average fan much when making their decisions. It's all about the $$$.

So, you allow blatantly "lopsided" deals to take place? This is the one thing that is actually hard about being a commissioner that I failed to note....dealing with trades.

I enjoy it immensely......the stuff you describe comes with the territory. Just my two cents.....
