Not that I agree with him, BUT everyone ridiculed the Lions for the Gibbs pick and it turned out to be a great pick! If you have a RB that you feel is top 10 value and he slips and you feel he is a difference maker, then you make that pick... (edited to add: I think that RB is a good position...

There is ZERO chance that Darnold gets anywhere near $50 million...I don't think anyone gives him $20 million...I hope the Vikings go with Jones as their backup at something 10 or less. He has mobility similar to McCarthy so the gameplan wouldn't change much if McCarthy had to sit.

Didn't read through the entire thread but I don't understand how a "stiff arm" to the face or slap to the helmet by any runner is not illegal hands to the face?? I know it is the rule but I don't understand why it is ok for a ball carrier and not ok for anyone else on the field?!?!?!?!?

Darnold didn't play well, but KOC didn't do him any favors by calling downfield routes every play... If they are going to man up in the red zone, then take one step and sail it up for JJ to make a play on the ball...

I think Jones and Chandler are really good options. The depth is a little thin but I don't see them playing more than those two unless injuries hit anyway. Plus, Ham can play RB in a pinch. I'm more worried about WR depth than RB depth. Will be interesting to see if they try and get a vet WR as...

I agree with something like that - Maye and Williams were the only "top QBs" going into this season - never know how things will shake out...
