I like Peterson a lot. The Bears seem to be to RBs (lately at least, no more Rahsaan Salaam madness) as the Pack has been to QBs.

Link to impartial analysts on ESPN? They all get paid to have a shtick. As previously mentioned Jaws is a blatant Eagles or QB homer. Irvin is a WR/The U/Dallas homer. Madden is a whomever is playing well that night homer. Very few of these big name guys are really impartial analysts.

I'm not writing them off, just noticing the irony. The call lately has been "the D and special teams are great, we just need a QB to not screw up"... but as those injuries add up, the Bears will need more than just a caretaker as the D will allow more points and longer drives.
