Last I saw it had destroyed like 40 buildings including the water plant. With the current funding for the National Park system getting pinched, have to somewhat wonder if they’ll even rebuild/re-open.
Definitely get there early. Consider packing a headlamp with a red light on it and getting started before sunrise.
My recommendations for Arches:
-Start with a hike to Landscape Arch taking the spurs to Tunnel Arch and Pine Tree Arch
-Then head to Sand Dune Arch and the hike to Broken Arch...
I was going to day that it sounds like maybe they should make them illegal if they keep getting out but then again people’s cats and dogs get out all the time too, so
Waymo is rolling out in Philly. The same city that destroyed HitchBOT immediately. Also the City where people will aggressively NOT let you over when you need to get over. Thid seems like a disaster waiting to happen. Both for Waymo’s cars and for Philly’s reputation once again.
With doctor’s permission, Mrs. GD and I went i Annapolis MD this weekend for a quick July 4th getaway while our daughter was on her trip. Had a nice time there.
Have to say, if you ever go, I highly recommend Vin 909 for a meal. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The pizzas were...

Home now. No definitive answer but turns out she has a UTI and that could have could have contributed along with some dehydration. So rest and plenty of fluids is the goal for now along with an antibiotic.
IMO, her NBA comp is Dennis Rodman. Not the most talented player or most athletically gifted, but works extremely hard, is willing to get down and dirty, and has a great eye for angles on rebounding. And has a bit of recklessness and ego that annoys opposing players.
Thanks guys. Right now my money is on low blood sugar/diabetes and/or dehydration. She eats mostly sugar/carbs and only drinks Coke. Something we’ve argued about for years. Half decent chance it caught up to her leading to low blood sugar and dehydration coupled with being pretty warm and wala.
That’s so awesome. Maybe he finds something in it and opens up some sort of career path. If nothing else, sounds like it might be restoring some confidence and making him feel like he has some purpose while also helping him feel independent.
Holiday weekend not off to the best start. Hit the snooze button (thankfully) and started to realize my wife was having a seizure. First time that we know of. She was in bed so thankfully that helped keep her safe. It went on for quite a while so I ended up calling 911 and paramedics came out...
There’s no asterisk here. It’s just one of the biggest “What If” games in playoff history. We all, Pacers fans the most, got robbed of a potentially classic Game 7. The magic of their run ran out in about the most gut wrenching way possible at the most horrific time possible.
I think this is actually a really complex issue with plenty of blame to go around. It’s becoming increasingly clear that research is flooded with fraud and bad research and that even some of the most reputable publications are doing a really poor job of peer review.
Far too many (IMO)...
