We are in our 4th year doing this.
Not sure how others run theirs but this is how we have it set up:
- Start off with 12 man rosters and 7 starters
- At weeks 5, 9 and 12 we expand rosters by 2
- At weeks 5 and 9 we add additional flex starter including superflex at week 9
- Best ball. This...
Very disappointed. Really the most important tool I use and the last update was still August 20.
I have two big auction drafts this weekend and hopefully there will be one last update before then. This tool really seems to be an afterthought in the grand scheme of things.
How are nominations made? By each owner in a rotisserie format until they blow their budget or fill out their roster is the norm. If a team spends their money and fills out their roster early then by the sounds of it they are still allowed to nominate players which I find unusual by the way you...
Commissioner in 2 redrafts (1990, 1998) and co-commish 4 dynasty (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).
All MFL leagues. All live auction and all with local guys for the most part. Guys that are not local (1 or 2 for each league) are on zoom calls which is a pain in the *** for live auction.
Finding...
Never heard of League Tycoon and just checked out their site. Really like some of their contract capabilities which very few sites support. We do it on MFL but it is a lot of custom coding to get it to work the way we like. The calculation for contract extensions is cool and something I have...
We use it for all of our leagues because it actually supports a lot of the stuff that other leagues don't. Example Taxi Squad, Contract Leagues and Salary Cap. Sleeper does not support contract or salary cap so not even an option. Plus I have been able to code several custom reports that are...
We made our guillotine league best ball and it's been great. Owners at one point or another will drop a stud WR for a Tightend because the only other tightend on their roster played early and put up a dud. In guillotine leagues if you are low scoring team you are eliminated so you have to do...
My opponent today dropped Luke Musgrave TE for Green Bay at 6:09 pm eastern today, well after his game kicked off; and picked up Dotson for the Eagles. Every other league I am in (not on sleeper) players lock at kick off of their game. This is my first sleeper league. Is this normal? Find...
That was one of the things I asked about when I chatted with support about contract and salary cap features and the response was "no".
Maybe the API question got lost in the shuffle but that is great to know. Thanks for the clarification.
I chatted with support at sleeper to verify whether they supported contracts or salary caps and they do not so sleeper is not even an option for our dynasty leagues.
We have a salary/contract league that includes backloading/frontloading/restructuring/extension of contracts. With the API being open and MFL supporting custom coding I was able to create a dynamic contract report that allows each owner to view their contracts for 4 years out including...
We do two things.
Have done a free-for-all for years with the highest scorer takes home some prize money. Not a lot but still something to play for.
Two years ago I introduced a probowl to all of my leagues. In leagues where I have 4 divisions the division winner picks players from the teams...
