I agree. My only concern with Pete atm is his "my guy" history. Bringing in his sons as assistants (and awful results from their units), getting a bunch of SEA retreads (our awful LT Forsyte, Ky Blu, Lockett, Geno), a few other assistants. Those actions themselves are fine, I get you know and...
Season's gone, we need to get young guys on the field. I love this article (and am beginning to hate Pete Carroll if this keeps playing out) - why isn't Decamerion Richardson playing? He got a lot of snaps last year and looked like he was improving but zero now? With Pete's boy Ky Blu getting...
Wish we'd taken them up on their latest opportunity. I was honking for Pickens in the offseason, we could have signed Darnold for free and used the third on Pickens instead.
Pittsburgh has a slew of picks in 2026 draft and an abyss at WR to complement DK Metcalf. Jakobi Meyers is the kind of WR Aaron Rodgers has ridden to Canton and is on an expiring contract. Unless we're committed to writing him a big check there's a perfect trade opportunity here. Get the...
Not much Pete can do here - the failure is personnel. The OL stinks, we didn't make any attempt to fix it, and the Jeanty pick was awful because even if he's elite we can't leverage it behind that OL. Not all of this is on Brady/whatever is lapdog's name is, we've whiffed on talent for a long...
A little of both. We were bad at times, but they have a super stud DT and we didn't let him wreck the entire game - which we have in the past. It was by no means dominant, but it was quite competent at times. Awful at others though, and better teams will (and already have) destroy us.
Exactly my sentiments in March but from LVR perspective:
We could have kept the 3rd and signed Fields or Darnold for the same/less (way less for Fields) money - that would be the chess move.
Personally I agree, but starting on the 20 is much more scoring friendly and player safety conscious. You can really sell "after playing a full game, we just want to reduce the amount of wear and tear in overtime" with that rule.
College system is great. Both teams get full chance on O to get it done and a full chance on D to get a stop. No one can argue about fairness. You earn it or you don't.
We have an entire channel dedicated to ignoring 80 yards of the field. With the opportunity to turn the game into rotating...
His 2026 money isn't guaranteed for injury. There's some dead money but that's from the structure and using void years, they would have eaten that all at some point anyway.
