Completely agree. I have been a Texans fan since they started, and an Oilers fan before that. The Texans are a horribly run organization from top to bottom. Even though Kubiak is an "offensive-minded" coach, the offense can't get going in the first half of games, and seems to be missing Kyle...
Not a bad trade...While the Texans might lose the next 6 games (hope not...), I think Foster is a must-start at this point... unless you play in a 4-team league...
Well, at least this shows us that Kubiak acknowledges he can't solve all the team's defensive woes from "within the organization..." :lmao: The Texans will obviously regret some of their performance in the first half of the season, but I think they will at least make it interesting the rest...
I think what is most disappointing, is to see regression of some the legitimate defensive players--Ryans (pre-injury), Mario, Pollard, what we've seen of Cushing (even in a new role) all seem to have taken a step back. The overall defensive scheme lacks any semblance of aggression--where's the...
Tate's the guy. I doubt Ward and Slaton are on Texans roster next season. Ward is a one season stopgap. If Kubiak comes back next year, it will be Foster/Tate and some undrafted rookie RB, TBD...
His game yesterday reminded me of Miles Austin v. Chiefs (2009)... I passed on Austin last year, don't want to make the same mistake with Britt.
Homers, please chime in:
1. Is Vince Young rumored to miss any more time? He was active as #2 QB yesterday...
2. Will Britt face any further...
I disagree with this take... I think the Texans will run the ball. Kubiak wants to control the clock and keep his stuggling Defense off the field.Foster had 33 carries in week 1 against the Colts. Look for more of the same @IND, vs. SD, @ JAX, and so and so forth...Plus, both Foster and Ward...
Per ESPN Insider...
Nnamdi would certainly be welcome in this secondary... though, apparently Schefter has no cred, according to these boards...
If Kubiak can get a running game going, the likes of what we saw in Week 16 and 17 last season, and versus Dallas last Saturday, expect Schuab's numbers to decline.
Kubiak wants to run.
Slaton wasn't drafted to be the Texans featured, and should do very well in a 3rd down role. His neck, and...
Well, I personally don't think the Texans FO did enough to address the O-line through the draft (or otherwise). Another project D-lineman in the 3rd round, and tons of question marks.. While Kubiak/Smith gets lots of credit for the 2006 draft (Williams, Ryans, Daniels), the rest of their...
