Living in New England I have seen all the kool aid drinkers and the "Belichik is god/ in Bill we trust" diatribe over the years. But this year I think the O line is a huge problem. In all preseason games Brady is getting hit from up the middle. Normally the only teams that can do it have special...
Depending on where I draft completely changes my strategy even though my rankings remain consistent. I still may target the same guys in the middle rounds. but, who you start with changes who you look for later.
The more I draft, the more I feel it is important to get a top 5 QB no matter what. I also grab my back up earlier than most. I would define reach as grabbing a player at least two rounds ahead of his ADP ( mid rounds) or a full tier out of the general consensus ranking. If you do a lot of mock...
Something that really intrigues me this year are Larry Johnson and Julius Jones. Both can be had in the mid rounds and If you were going to WR WR or WR QB I think I could live with those guys to hold the fort. Along those lines I also like Hasselbeck rebounding. I don't hear many people talking...
Statistically it has proven that Distance Td is random. At first, I did not agree with this but then looked deeper and found the data holds -- to a point. While you can not predict distance TDs. there are definitely some players that seem to have a knack for longer TDs than others. Steve Smith...
You have to make sure you get to cancellation/retention Dept. No one else has the authority to make good on any offers. Remember they also get a bonus/comission for every customer they retain. key is to be polite and not piss them off with attitude. If they put that you are an ### in their...
Performance league with PPR and bonus scoring for distance TDs. Qbs are way overvalued so I almost have to keep Rodgers.
I can only keep from the following:
Marshawn Lynch
Chris Johnson
Greg Jennings
Addai
Ronnie Brown
I am tempted to keep Lynch and Johnson but with PPR and the crazy QB...
This is from the NFL site:Teams appointing season-long captains -- 75 have been reappointed for 2008 -- qualify for up to six captains to wear the letter "C" on the upper right chest of their jerseys. Gold stars under the "C" indicate the number of seasons a player has been a captain for his...
Jennings looks to be a real quality sleeper this year. I wish I had drafted him in more leagues. I just wish he would stop getting caught before the end zone on some of those ridiculously long receptions...
I think the key for this early is too keep it simple and not over think. NYG seems like the best team against the worst STL. I am not touching SEA until I see something positive from them.
Snyder tried to get him this year. Word is he only went with Zorn ( low profile coach) so he could move him out if Cowher went back into play next year.
Awesome O line? Not one of them should have cashed their All Star check last year after the way they got beat up by NYG.They did not look good against KC either.
