On the other hand, if the defense wasn't ready and you could get into the endzone for the two-point conversion, the defense would have to accept the penalty, giving you time to get the kicker in the game.
McCallister - 4.1 yards per rush, 7.4 yards per reception, 2 TDsBush - 3.7 yards per rush, 7.3 yards per reception, 0 TDs
when you consider the short yardage runs hurting McCallister's ypr average, your comparison falls short.

You're already giving points for TDs and yardage and taking points away for INTs, so the only thing that is missing from the QB rating formula is completion percentage. I play in a league that gives an additional bonus if a QB completes at least 65% of his passes (minimum 20 passes).
CNNSI has it in their truth and rumors: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/scor....nfl/index.htmlRumors began flying that the Jets are candidates to trade up with the Texans and land the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, which they would use on quarterbacks Matt Leinart or Jay Cutler.

I'd put Palmer and McNabb in Tier 1. I can't see putting Roethlisberger in Tier 1. He plays great in Pittburgh's offense, but put any of a number of other good QBs in the same offense, and they probably put up similar numbers. I'd put him near the top of the Tier 2 bin.
S. Moss - good numbers this year, but heavily dependent on getting that one long pass for a TD to get even mediocre numbers. Brunell's not getting any younger, and Ramsey and Campbell starting won't help his numbers. His overall numbers this year were good enough that he'll go way too high for...
I can't see TO that high in a keeper. He's 32 (about 3 yrs older than Moss), and has had injury issues the last two years. Most likely, he signs a relatively low, incentive-laden contract next year, has a good year in 2006, then blows up whatever team he signs with in 2007, #####ing about his...
