Yep Mcfadden got me 44 pts today. and i lost my matchup by 38, with Chris Ivory getting me 4 pts. To make matters worse, I used my #1 WW claim on Ivory, and Britt is sitting in free agents.
I hate this game.TM
I traded Hillis/Orton for Rice/Bradford. Orton was my backup, and the other guy was stuck at QB, so that probably played a big factor... but still... A Hillis/XXXX package could get you a #1 RB this year.
I own him and haven't started him since week 1. However, of all the timeshares at RB in the NFL, I think he undoubtedly has the most value of all the second fiddle guys. An added bonus is the age of the #1 guy in front of Greene.
As if Hillis already didn't have a tough matchup against the Steelers run defense, imagine how tough he'll have it when the Steelers put 9 in the box on 1st/2nd downs and force McCoy/Ratliff to air it out.
This game is gonna be ugly.
One note of mention is that Mcgahee and Mcclain were stuffed for a combined 4 goalline attempts against the Broncos. Mcgahee's only TD was a 30 yarder. Meanwhile, Rice got two goalline carries and converted both of them.
What to make of this?
I was just offered Rice/Bradford for Hillis/Orton. Orton is my backup behind Brees. I don't know if I like sacrificing the depth at QB to "upgrade" my RB, when it may not be much of an upgrade at all.
Can't watch the game... but I see that NE has a Kick Return TD and an Interception TD.
But, do they also have a blocked field goal returned for a TD???
