Because the 9ers are soooo deep in the secondary?
I just love how ol' Hardballs has to eat his words about his team of choir boys being "above reproach" and how if your team needs to cheat to win, you've already lost. :bs...
I stand corrected. He really just turned it on this year, eh? He had 12 career receptions in 16 games before this season. Isn't there some sort of 3rd year WR theory?Bench Johnson at your own risk. I've lost several matchups because I didn't start him. What's especially nice about him is that...
I benched TO in favor of Stevie J. Pitt has given up some big points to Wrs this year, but they have also shut down teams completely. Unless you have a comparable option, I wouldn't bench the rookie... he's been $$ all year.
+1
I have run dry at WR with byes and injuries and that's the same guy I went with. Thing is, he WILL score you points. He won't win you any games by himself, but he won't screw you with a goose-egg either.
He was only here for a matter of days before the last game and was getting targets...
As I'm finishing up with my draft preparations I'm trying to be more realistic about where I'm going to ACTUALLY be able to draft players that I'm specifically targeting.
While I do understand getting value based on draft position, but how much do you reach for the players you really like...
The epic c0ckgobbling in this thread has reached Madden/Farve proportions.
He's going to have to file his own rape charges against all of the nuthummers in Pittsburgh at this rate.
Are you serious?
McGAYhee has gotten fractions of a point for the last two weeks. Whatever games he won at the beginning of the year are now cancelled out due to his absolutely craptacular performances.
Eat your crow like a man.
I'm a homer, but I have a feeling he'll have a career day on Sunday.
Now that Holmgren isn't reigning him in, he'll be more at liberty to make plays with his feet, which will open up the passing game. When Sen was in last year, he had the practice squad for WRs and 2nd and 3rd string o-linemen...
I pimped Burleson as a steal all summer long. He's completely healthy and he was poised to break out last year before the injury. I'm not a stat predicting kind of guy, but I agree with the general consensus thus far.The only problem I can see with Burls, is that he'll have games where he'll...
Hill and Lofa are dinged up, so Aaron might get a little more of the LB pie moving forward.
Curry is a beast and he was ALL over the field on Sunday. He was actually playing TOO fast as he was geeked up for the home crowd. I see him getting better and more responsibilities in the defensive...
The 50 pt. TD thing was a bad example.
I guess the crux of the issue is that good QBs are valuable no matter what the scoring dictates. Relative differences between the positions (not the total, but the discrepancies) being similar is what's important.
