The Saints definitely seemed to err on the side of hitting him even if the timing was close. It looked like they were coached to emphasis hits without worrying about the penalties to take Favre out of the game. I admit bias, so I'd be interested in what other people have to say about it, too.

I just added some facts to this thread, no lecture was intended. There is indeed a lot we don't know about this which is why I avoided any conjecture, but, as demonstrated by Rhianna and Chris Brown, celebrities are still people and are still able to be victims and perpetrators of crimes.

Domestic abuse is drastically under reported. It's much more likely for a victim to lie and say it didn't happen when it did, than the opposite.Strangulation is also a felony level assault which is obviously huge if he's convicted.

I wouldn't really call her a journalist. She's the local gossip hound, and this article was horribly written. It sounded like she was just trying to flirt with him the whole time.

I just picked him up in 2 dynasty leagues. I remember reading that article and being completely disgusted, but I forgot who it was. I'll have to think about keeping him on my roster. :lol:
