New to Superflex league need advice

First off -> congratulations to your league. Superflex is the way to play! I say that in part because QBs are now as valuable (even more-so?) as the other skill positions. I've played in Superflex for two decades already and the key point is you can win your league with any type of roster...

Players opting out of the 2020 season - Deadline Aug 6...unless you've got a good reason to opt out later

Here is an up-to-date (I think?) summary from this thread and this thread only. Feel free to copy-and-paste and add to post #1, OP! Opting Out Chiefs RT Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Ravens WR/KR De'Anthony Thomas  Seahawks OG Chance Warmack Patriots FB Dan Vitale Cowboys CB Maurice Canady...

Pros & Cons of Auction Draft

Another STRONG vote for the Auction.  Tremendous.  Nothing beats it -> super fair and super fun!

    QB strategy

Scarcity justifies picking a QB earlier, not scoring bonuses. With that said, in my opinion the world needs more start 2-QB leagues so that the first four rounds of drafts are more balanced (and fun!) But with THAT said, the world actually needs fewer drafts and more auctions!  ;-)

    WR Corey Davis, Retired

Any post-draft reflection on this guy?   I'm high on Mariota but the proficient run-game could hold both he and Davis back in 2017.  Still...safe to assume he should have many years of studly potential ahead of him?

Official Bishop Sankey - Best RB in the 2014 Draft

Just stating some facts - not looking to get flames...but look at the first two NFL games of these RBs last year: Eddie Lacy: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LacyEd00/gamelog/2013/ Montee Ball: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BallMo00/gamelog// Zac Stacy...

    TENN STILL IS OVERATED

Some people will only cheer for a team with a sexy passing attack. It's that simple. For weeks Titan fans have been hearing about how all you have to do is stop the run and you'll win the game. Hell - the Bears stopped the run AND got a lead (all-be-it only a 7 point lead) and the Titans still...

    TEN is not overated

I have to agree that you DO seem to be a bit of a Titan-Hater. And you are very caught up with their mediocre WR corps and game managing QB. There are several other facets to a good football team; O-Line, D-Line, Linebackers, Secondary, Coaching, Special Teams, Run game, emotion / leadership...

    Buy Low Roy Williams

I remember Moss pouting and dropping balls in Oakland. It's funny what a horrible franchise can do to a player. Not saying Roy will come back with someone else and break the TD Reception record - but I wouldn't be so quick to write him off.

    Can you really "Predict" Injuries?

Really-really-really last chance to get your injury predictions in. Then we'll see how collectively "Smart" we are.

Monday Night Double Header.. You got to be Kidding!

June just called....wants your update back. Just another reason why living in MNT time-zone rules. (The mountains and the oil are two other good reasons)

    week 1 predictions

N.Y. Jets at Tennessee - TENN Dallas at Jacksonville - DALLAS Indianapolis at N.Y. Giants - NYG Philadelphia at Houston - PHI Titans sit alone atop the AFC South!!! - Julius FAR out-performs Marion - Phillip Rivers answers all doubters - Javon Walker is the story vs STL, not a Denver RB

    Deshaun Foster

Foster also had two post-season TDs in 2003, including one in the Super Bowl and one of the toughest TDs I've every seen in the NFC Championship game vs Philly. I agree double-digit TDs is very possible if DFost (sorry) can stay healthy for the majority of the season. As mentioned, the Panthers...

    Can you really "Predict" Injuries?

As I've stated a couple times, that's what we're trying to find out.Are our intuitions really better than complete "Randomness". I'm interested to see if our "HURT" players actually do play fewer games than our "HEALTHY" players.

    Can you really "Predict" Injuries?

Summary so far. - Dom Davis is obviously now out for the year...but I do know people who drafted him - DJax, SSmith, TOwens are all a little banged but obviously still getting drafted high...so they count. - Favre, Tomlinson, LJohnson, JWalker and a few others appear on both lists. Obviously...
