Hello! I am doing some research into startup drafts and the strategies that get employed in them. If you have anything you would like to add here feel free to add to the discussion!

Does anyone out there have any successful new concepts of fantasy football? Like college style eligibility, salary/contract, etc...  I'm just looking for cool new ideas for a league to create. 

How much value do you guys put on the rookie draft? 

I'm in a 14 team dynasty looking to acquire the 2nd pick. He has interest in Newton, should I trade Newton for 1.02 straight up? I have Alex Smith as my backup, but would probably draft a rookie or free agent for his backup.  Should i I do it?
