Yea there are certain directors I'll almost automatically watch any movie from. Even if I end up not liking a particular movie of theirs, it's still good to compare it to their other films.
It seems normal until the "private moment" blaming-the-band part. As someone who has written things like that for a living, there's almost no chance that part is legit.
Really happy this album - which completely slipped my mind - made it. Slade is fun, and it's good that they got their true US/worldwide breakthrough with this album.
Bold as Love works just fine for me.
I had to have Jimi in my top 20. It was hard to pick one. In the end it was this one or Machine Gun/Live, but I felt this one had a better chance of actually making the countdown. And like you say, I really like this one as an entire album. Not as many...
PDYN... Palladyne AI. I got into them a few months ago when I learned PLTR was invested. They have an interesting history - they were a robotics company, seemed to be on the rise, and I don't know exactly what happened, but they fell to the point of almost being delisted. They went in a new...

Yea, their songs are really well crafted. Lots of different parts, some unexpected riffs, and you're right - a lot in that 5-8 minute length that just really works. Neil is my favorite artist, but Maiden is probably my favorite band.
But tonight I'm gonna listen to the Taylor Swift album!
I clearly really like Maiden, as I have two of their albums in my top 15. I hate that Metallica (who I like also) is going to finish so much higher because to me, there's no contest between them - Maiden is the better band in every way. But that's probably for another thread.
Looks like I was...
