I'd really like him as a possession receiver. Sounds like he can play any position, and might even be useful in the return game if Royal doesn't start showing up. Also need to cross your fingers for his knee/health - what else is new for our WRs? :tebow:
This guy. Also, I find it funny that everyone is all gung ho about Tony Gonzalez (who is 4 years older than gates). Both are some of the best TEs ever, and I personally think that Gonzo has lost more of a step (non-injury speed/agility/routes) than Gates in recent years. Both will permanently...
I'm on the same boat as you. It hurts considering I'm a Chargers and Giants fan haha. Also, I see the snap count above... what did that count look like for the rest of the skill position players (mainly Julius Thomas)
What do you think happens here IF both backs are 100% healthy for an entire game (Crazy talk, RIGHT?). Will Tolbert get the goalline snaps, or will it be a crapshoot ala bradshaw/jacobs?
I like it more than PPR, just because something like a guy that catches a bunch of bubble screens (pierre garcon anyone?) for -2 yards don't net +.8 points on the play.
Why would a first down reception be worth more than a 1st down run? QB should be able to get the 1st down reward if they scramble (or catch?!?!) for a first down.
Sounds like he's "Fine". That being said, I'm starting Antonio Brown in a deeper league where I have bye week issues. The massive amount of targets Brown has been getting, and the hammy injury make me think Brown may do SOMETHING this week.
Traded away Deangelo, Dez, and Avant for Mathews and LT in a PPR Keeper league. I am unable to keep Dez again, and still have Fitzgerald, AJ Green, Maclin, and Mike Williams TB at WR.
Very happy with the Deangelo to Mathews upgrade :)
Sooner or later, LT will begin to get carries just like last year. He's still got something left in the tank, he just lacks the endurance to put it out there for all 16 games. I like LT over Greene this week, ppr or not.
I like it.People are saying that Thomas hasn't "proven it". This is absurd - the only thing decker has shown me is inconsistency. Add this to the fact that there is a new QB, and what we really have here is no tangible stats or evidence to go by to predict who "the guy" will be in denver...
I feel that T Young and Burleson are back and forth with targets. Add Scheffler healthy again back into the mix, and you basically have a bunch of people competing with Calvin for targets (and pettigrew in red zone). On the bright side of this, Best will not play this week. I'm avoiding...
