Isn't the overall contest survival rate just using the two numbers of 'how many people entered' and 'the last cutoff number'? We could calculate survivorship of every week from here on out minus the 'championship' weeks, yeah?
I was wondering more about overall survivorship for each team...
Is there any site that emulates this contest so that we could have 'multiple entries'? It would be interesting to save a few iterations of our rosters and see how each of them would have performed. Maybe an addition to the calcomatic?
Would be interesting to see the cheapest roster that would make the cut each week and derivative stats (how often do particular players appear on this roster, how much did it cost/how much was not used, etc.). Might give us an insight to what the actual value players are vs. what we thought they...
Browns and TB both on week 7 make it hard. There's a lot of value there in a weak defense/running team with Arians coaching and of course, the 2019 Superbowl champion Browns. I really don't like having so much money tied up in one week though.
Gotta start somewhere, right? I like taking RBs and handcuffs from early bye teams. Just feels like the safest way to hedge against injuries in the most injury prone position. Rest is just fliers for a best ball approach. I feel light on TE.
QB - Baker Mayfield - 19
QB - Sam Darnold - 9
QB -...
To open, obviously the MIA/TB players are a premium. Their prices include the risk of a week 11 bye when cuts are critical. To take that drawback away gives them inherent value at their pre-generated costs. I also wanted to make sure that no more than $50 of solid scorers were on bye on any...
This is really good data. Is there any way to add a column with the point average of the survivors from any given number of players? E.g. for the 30 players row:
Size - count - alive - survival rate - survivor average
30 - 641 - 554 - 86.4 - 148.20
I think it could be interesting.
All of you people that are scoring comfortably away from the line, how many players are on your teams? Are you down in the 18-21 range? I've been sweating the cut the last two weeks and I've got 27.
