That is probably the biggest flaw. There is actually a decent number of older Facebook users (55+) but the issue with them is they don't use the site in the same way as younger demographics. So while they may be big fans of a particular team, they won't necessarily "like" that team or showcase...

There are definitely drawbacks with using Facebook data for such an analysis but I thought there were some interesting findings.
I'm definitely not going to claim that this is the most methodically-sound scholarly article/blog post out there. I will say that as an econ major I have always had some resentment towards my finance classmates majoring in the easier yet more lucrative field of study. I would be hard pressed to...
Indeed. This study definitely raises some red flags for Tannehill and Griffin. Luck's major of architectural design could be an issue but there were no other such majors drafted in the first round from 2004 through 2012. I would be wary of History major David Wilson as well. On a more positive...
Thanks for the feedback. I was always interested in seeing what players majored in and it was really hard to find any previously-written information on the subject.
I would definitely believe that Erasmus James didn't actually do most of his work. I doubt he was the only player to skate by...
I'm not willing to base my fantasy strategy around this or anything, but I find it interesting nonetheless.

Houston got a lot of reps yesterday, but I think hes rotating reps at running back too. Blaylock didnt get many reps in the team drills at all. Im not trying to base my whole idea of the Jets on one practice, (it was kind of a PR move too to get Jets fans in Meadowlands and introduce the team)...
If the offense can get into scoring position, yes. I think he at least will be consistent in making his kicks, and he has some range. The big concern with him is how many kicks he will get with the Jets offense.
While not a Jets fan, my friend is, and we both think Bollinger will be the one quarterback who doesnt make the team out of the four. I didnt think he was that great out of Wisconsin either, and while he can run, he had trouble throwing on the run. He made some nice short passes but he...
He got some reps with the second team in the team drills, he didnt really do anything special. The big defensive play of the day was a Vilma interception. Smith looked fluid and athletic in the individual drills though.
Today I went to Jets camp at the Meadowlands with my friend and there was some interesting things there. The team was in uppers and there was minimal contact; it definitely wasnt one of their more grueling practices. Brooks Bollinger and Kellen Clemens got the majority of the snaps in the team...
It's no wonder why the past several years as a Raiders fan I have spent more and more time looking at possible top-10 prospects in the NFL draft on saturdays.
I was surprised it took the Eagles so long to score. Now I think they are going to change the momentum of the game and I dont think the Raiders will be able to win. The Eagles should have a lot more points right now, they sure had the opportunities.
