I think the idea is that after entering the league, you customize it to your liking. If you refuse to mess around a little with your home page, then I would agree that MFL doesn't make much sense for you.

One full IDP (18 starters, 45 man rosters) dynasty league, used to have a couple of re-drafts as well but cant be bothered to do them anymore.

Bonus tip: tweak the width of the columns

Why can't you view it? You have realized by now that you can mess around with the modules and arrange your page as you like right? There's a module called head to head match ups, it also includes previews. I usually set it up with 3 columns, arrange the modules as I like and I'm good to go...
